Necessity and requirements for reporting on sustainability in the MEM industry

Background

Requirements in the sustainability sector are increasing from various sides. Companies are increasingly faced with inquiries, surveys and forms. The implementation of the counter-proposal to the Corporate Responsibility Initiative or the German Supply Chain Act in particular increase the pressure on larger companies. But smaller companies also have to deal with the requirements, whether because they are directly affected or indirectly as suppliers.

A sustainability report must be based on a credible foundation. The standards that are relevant and suitable for this purpose will be shown. One of the first steps on the way to a sustainability report is a relevance analysis. There are clear priorities to be set for 2023.
