Our Team and Partners

Barbara Dubach

Founder & Managing Director

Barbara has been passionate about sustainability for more than 30 years and has gained longstanding, international experience and expertise in the industry, public and non-profit sector.

As an entrepreneur and initiator, she enables engagement and acceleration for profit and non-profit organization with engageability – a center of excellence creating value for all stakeholders and the common good.
She sits on the board of several organizations including Holzheizkraftwerk Aubrugg, Pusch, Swiss Peace, Swisscleantech, and the council for sustainable investments at the Alternative Bank Switzerland.
Her business experience includes many years as Senior Vice President responsible for sustainable development coordination at LafargeHolcim (former Holcim) in various countries in the world, a secondment to the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) as Director Communication and Advocacy as well as working as environmental economist for the Federal Office of Environment in Switzerland.
Barbara holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Zurich and a PhD from the University of St. Gallen on ‘Managing environmental communication in multinational companies’.

Janine Baumann

Junior Consultant

As a student of the MSc Circular Innovation & Sustainability, Janine is particularly interested in circular economy and sustainable designs.

With her BSc in Business Administration with a focus on Process Management and Value Network, Janine has been supporting the engageability team with administrative and process-based issues since August 2022. Prior to that, she worked in different start-ups, where she took over the financial management, took care of HR management and led an operational team, among other things. Janine is eager to combine her knowledge from her master studies with the practice at engageability and is convinced that only by embracing circularity we can work towards a more sustainable future.

Hellen Hohoff

Consultant

As an esteemed consultant, Hellen has a pronounced expertise in sustainability and a robust background in stakeholder communication for green companies and start-ups.

Hellen joined engageability as a consultant in early 2024. Her specialization in sustainability and green technologies enables her to provide high-level strategic counsel to C-suite executives, particularly in areas crucial for stakeholder engagement and amplifying brand awareness. Previously, she worked as a greentech communications consultant at Europe’s leading digital communication agency for clients like AXA Climate School. Hellen complements her expertise with a background in sales and marketing, equipping her with the knowledge of tailoring narratives to specific audiences. She gained this expertise, among others, at one of Germany’s largest media houses.

Hellen graduated in Business Administration, specializing in Communication and the interdisciplinary field of Sustainable Economic Approaches. To strengthen her knowledge in Sustainability, she added the course Business Sustainability Management at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership to her educational background.

Coralie Delacoste

Research Assistant

As a graduate in International Business Management, Coralie is particularly interested in sustainable projects both in Switzerland and abroad.

Coralie joined engageability in September 2020 as research manager to support the team in research, reporting and communication. Previously she gained experience as a Junior Business Analyst and as an intern at the municipality office of Collombey-Muraz. As an avid traveller Coralie enjoys discovering innovative and engaged projects that build and empower local communities, especially those related to food systems around the world. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in International Business Management from the Haute Ecole de Gestion in Geneva and speaks French, English, Spanish and German.

Sibylle Grass

Senior Consultant

With extensive experience in various industries and a proven track record in marketing, project management, and business development, Sibylle is a results-driven professional.

Equipped with an Executive MBA in Sustainable Business, she is passionate about accelerating impact-driven innovation. Sibylle joined engageability in February 2023 as a Senior Consultant. Sibylle started her career as a graduate industrial designer. Her early fascination with nature-based models and ecological design shaped her resource-conscious mindset. After studying innovation management at the University of Applied Sciences Beider Basel, she moved into marketing, where she successfully drove change towards resource efficiency while leading global strategic projects and teams. Sibylle’s cross-sector expertise was enhanced by her involvement in the financial and healthcare sectors. She has worked for companies such as UBS, Julius Baer and Sonova. During her time in finance, she founded, managed, and sold her first start-up company. Her entrepreneurial and creative mindset enables her to develop successful and sustainable client engagement strategies, drive projects and achieve ambitious goals. Outside of work, Sibylle is passionate about exploring new environmentally friendly solutions. In her spare time, she is actively involved in beekeeping and is always looking for new challenges and opportunities.

Katharina Reblitz

Senior Consultant

With an MSc in Sustainable Development and Economics, Katharina is particularly interested in the development and innovation of sustainability in organizations.

Katharina joined the engageability team in October 2020 as consultant. She has been engaging in the topic of sustainability in an interdisciplinary way for several years and put her flair for entrepreneurship into practice by co-founding a social business in the field of sustainable textiles in collaboration with women in Peru. Before joining engageability, Katharina worked in organizational development, communication and conducted internal company analysis as project manager for an SME in the food sector.

With a BSc in Geography, she investigated climate change mitigation and adaptation plans in India for the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. For her MSc in Sustainable Development and Economics she studied at the University of Basel and the University of St. Gallen and analyzed sustainability communication within the tea-sector. Besides her work at engageability she is research associate at the Institute for Financial Management at ZHAW and is convinced that organizations play an essential role in global sustainable development.

Vanessa Scheungraber

Consultant

As a master’s graduate in Natural Resources Management, Vanessa is particularly interested in transforming unsustainable systems.

Vanessa joined the engageability team as a Focused Reporting Analyst in August 2021 and continued to work with us as a research associate from February 2022. Previously she gained experience in several positions in Europe and abroad. Vanessa is particularly passionate about creating a green and equitable world. She believes that knowledge is the foundation for change and enjoys collecting and analysing baseline data to enable and track future change.

She holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna and speaks German, English, and Czech.”

Eva
Tabernig

Senior Consultant

With an MBA in Sustainability and experience in corporate portfolio management, Eva is passionate about developing and measuring sustainable solutions.

Before joining engageability as a consultant in April 2014, Eva Tabernig worked at CSR Europe, where she managed a portfolio of corporate accounts, coordinated the network of National Partner Organisations, and organised the first “European CSR Award Scheme”.She studied the Bachelor program called “Nonprofit, Social and Healthcare Management” in Austria (Innsbruck) and Uruguay (Montevideo) and passed an internship at AER, Assembly of European Regions, in the Committee “Public Health & Social Affairs”. In 2016, she obtained an “MBA in Sustainability” at the Sustainability Management School of Switzerland (Gland), and dedicated her master thesis to the topic “Value creation of Civil-Private Partnerships: Analysis of why and how partners assess value created at micro, meso and macro level”.
