About the ForumForum Business and Human Rights 2023

The Swiss Forum « Business and Human Rights » 2023 will help you identify the risks arising from your activities and outline solutions to address them. In addition, the Forum will provide information on current legal requirements and the expectations of the Federal Council. It offers a unique opportunity to exchange good practices among companies. Business representativesleaders from different sectorspolicy makersacademic and civil society experts can join dialogues, debates and present their approaches to pressing human rights issues. You can expect in-depth analysesengaged plenary discussionspractical examples and interactive workshops on current developments and challenges for companies in the field of business & human rights.

Consumers, investors, and legislators have rising expectations when it comes to responsible business practices. Increasing regulations affect not only large companies, but also SMEs. This Forum provides concrete approaches for integrating human rights issues into corporate management in a sustainable manner. It is intended to stimulate initiatives and exchange among the different stakeholders.

Waiting list

The Forum is offered by the SECO and the FDFA. It is part of the National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights 2020-2023. The objective is to promote good practices and raise awareness among Swiss businesses on human rights due diligence procedures. The Forum is organised and implemented by the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein.
