Background and aim of the mini handbook
The demands on companies are constantly increasing: companies are expected to operate in a resource-efficient and environmentally compatible manner, keeping an eye not only on their own performance, but also on that of the entire supply chain. To achieve this, risks must be minimized and opportunities identified – for example in the areas of climate or biodiversity. The market of tools to help with this is growing steadily. But how does a company recognize the optimal tool that both covers its needs and meets all relevant criteria?
“Go for Impact” (GfI) has set itself the goal of giving companies – especially SMEs – orientation in the jungle of offers in the field of “Measure – Report – Perform”. This is to prevent diversity from turning into impotence. In three online sessions, we discussed tools and standards, and highlighted trends and expected developments. The events were organized by engageability and the insights and tips gained were summarized in a mini handbook.
