This summer, we launch the second Swiss-wide benchmark, of around 120 integrated annual or sustainability reports of Swiss companies, based on the Focused Reporting methodology. The primary objective of Focused Reporting is to promote comprehensive sustainability reporting, which at the same time appears credible and places emphasis on relevant sustainability issues.
Initiated by engageability and öbu in 2015, the project enters its fifth round in 2019, in close partnership with RepRisk. Support is also provided by an accomplished consortium of multi-stakeholder experts, the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). In 2017, we analysed 101 sustainability reports – the largest analysis of this kind ever conducted in Switzerland. In 2019, it will again cover between 100 and 150 companies. The analysis aims at highlighting current trends and practices in a representative manner.
